As a very dear friend of mine says, I am a ‘sequential and single-minded person’, in the sense that, at the age of five, I liked the same four ‘things’ which have never changed and which have become my life: it was what was part of my family (there were six of us and I was the youngest); psychology (my mother used to tell me about our relatives when I was five); humour (it was always in the air at home); music (thanks to my brother, who played); water, wind and nature (I’ve owned six sailing boats, in which I’ve crossed the Atlantic with only them for company). That’s all there is to it; I haven’t included love because, for everyone, it’s the soundtrack to everything else.
